We like to think of First2HelpYou as a sort of super company. We have joined together from different areas of the lone worker safety industry to fill in the gaps and provide the best service money can buy.
Half of our team hail from Peoplesafe, and the other half from First County Monitoring.
Way back in 2004, George Bush and Tony Blair were in office, the NASA Mars Rover landed on Mars, and Facebook and Gmail launched.
Another tech company was also launching-Peoplesafe. For the next twelve years, Peoplesafe placed an emphasis on being a high-quality service and providing a range of products to enable clients to create their own package. They also made the decision to partner with First County Monitoring, a dedicated security company with expertise in lone worker, CCTV, fire and intruder. The staff were trained to be experts in lone worker safety, and were dedicated to the cause.
For over a decade, these two companies worked in partnership, delivering safety solutions to more than 20,000 people and working with some of the biggest companies in the UK.
In 2017, Peoplesafe were acquired, the original staff left and the relationship with First County Monitoring ceased.
Some of the original Peoplesafe and First County Monitoring staff believed a gap had opened up in the market for a high quality, fully managed lone worker service, so we banded together to form First2HelpYou.
The combination of monitoring, product, and operational expertise is a potent mix. With the benefit of hindsight, we have had the opportunity to create a service from scratch, and we have seized it with both hands. The result is First2HelpYou.
Like we said, First2HelpYou is a sort of super group.
The First County staff have been providing lone worker monitoring for over 10 years and have handled pretty much every eventuality. They have policies, processes, and systems in place that are tried and tested.
Simon, our Technical Director, has been managing the First County Monitoring systems expertly. He has pushed the technology forward in great strides, providing a high end, bespoke solution for us.
Alicia, the Operations Director, has been crafting bespoke lone worker solutions for Peoplesafe for a large portion of her career. She is excellent at helping health and safety managers and MDs identify the risks to lone workers and creating a solution that addresses them.
Dave, Head of Product and Implementation, is our resident geek. He knows all there is to know about the devices and how to get the best out of them. He has experience of training, account management, roll out, and product design.
Between them, they have hand crafted the products and services. Our products are not available to other lone worker providers, and have been created to fill in the gaps the other devices leave.
We might be a new company, but we are definitely not inexperienced.
