Lone worker monitoring around the clock
Our very own Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, meaning that we are always here for your employees.
24/7/365
We understand that lone workers can be working around the clock, at all times of the year. Therefore, a lone worker service should have the appropriate cover.
Our very own on-site Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) is provided by First County Monitoring (FCM), which is owned and managed by four of the directors at First2HelpYou. The ARC operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day – meaning that we are always here for your employees should they need us.
Expert call handlers
All of our call handlers are highly experienced and trained to quickly assess situations as they develop. This may involve providing the necessary response from an escalation contact or emergency services.
All activations are managed in accordance with BS8484:2016 standard. Alerts are measured on ‘time to listen’ and ‘time to verify’. First2HelpYou comfortably achieves the time frames as set out in the standard.
Unique Reference Number (URN)
Our accreditations allow us to provide a ‘Level 1’ emergency response service by using a Unique Reference Number (URN).
This is the fastest way to get the police to respond. When the police are called the URN ensures that the operator already has more information than usual, such as the location, names and the situation, meaning that help will be with them quickly in an emergency.
Appropriate responses
Of course, a ‘Level 1’ police response isn’t always appropriate and our experienced operators will assess a situation before deciding on the appropriate response. Sometimes a colleague or manager will be contacted instead, or a different emergency service, it all depends on the situation and what your escalation plan looks like.
This will all be discussed and agreed upon with you during the implementation stage of the process.
