Merry Christmas From First2HelpYou

Did you have a Merry Christmas Day? Are you feeling suitably relaxed and refreshed or are you still using the fridge as a never-ending buffet?

2019 For First2HelpYou

2019 was certainly a successful and very busy for us here at First2HelpYou. It flew by and we can’t believe we are almost at the end of the year already.

So, what happened in 2019? Well apart from having another year that has seen us grow from strength as one of the UK’s leading lone worker security solution provider, we have also been out and about spreading the word about us.

Back in October, we attended the Lone Worker Safety Expo in London. This expo is a one day conference that is dedicated to the safety of lone workers.

The main aim of the Lone Worker Safety Expo is “to ensure that the day provides you real value; increasing your knowledge and awareness of the health and safety, personal safety and security, and wellbeing risks to lone and vulnerable workers in a variety of sectors.”

Just like in 2018, First2HelpYou were there, the Expo proved to be even more of a resounding success than the year before and we will most definitely be there next year too.

You can read all about this years event here and then be sure to put a note in your diaries to snap up the tickets for the 2020 Lone Worker Safety Expo.

We also took some time to remember the disappearance of Suzy Lamplugh and the continuing good work of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust.

In April we also were pleased to attend the Health And Safety Event 2019. This event is hosted every year at the Birmingham NEC.

The Health & Safety Event is one of the biggest and best networking events for anyone involved in working with Health, Safety and Security.

We were delighted to say that it was a fantastic event as ever and you can read all about our experience at the Health And Safety Event 2019 here.

Is Your Escalation List Up To Date?

Before the Christmas break, please do check to make sure that your list of escalation contacts is up to date.

In an emergency, the monitoring centre needs to speak to an escalation contact urgently and if they can’t get hold of someone it could be potentially life-threatening.

So, once again, please make sure the escalation contacts are up to date and that they know the procedure when they are on call.

Alarm Monitoring 24/7, 365 Days A Year

Over the Christmas period please note that although the office hours are changed as above, the alarm monitoring service will continue to be 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

So, any lone worker devices that are used during the holiday season will still be monitored as they would be on any other day of the year.

Also, the connect portal will be available for admin support during the Christmas period.
