The Health & Safety Event 2019 – First2HelpYou Review

First2HelpYou are back in the office after another great year at the Health and Safety Event 2019. Read on for some photos and our summary of the event.

After great results from last years event, First2HelpYou decided to attend The Health & Safety Event once again. As First2HelpYou are now becoming more established, the show was even better than last time –  it was great that customers and potential customers now recognise us and seek us out.

Held at Birmingham NEC annually, The Health & Safety Event is the perfect networking and educational opportunity to anyone responsible for running a safe and efficient workplace.

The Health & Safety Event 2019

This year’s Lone Worker Theatre featured a variety of speakers representing many industries and explored some of the challenges faced by lone workers. Several speakers also shared best practice in assessing and managing the risks faced by lone workers.

Expertly organised and popular, a highlight was the talk from the Suzy Lamplugh Trust. Arad Parsi from the trust talked to visitors about raising awareness of risks that staff face while lone-working and ways to mitigate or manage risks at work.

Phil Moore from London City Mission also gave visitors food for though – talking about the challenges of managing lone working volunteers whose motivation may override their personal safety.

The three-day event was packed with exhibitors and visitors alike, and we got the chance to speak to a lot of new people.

Lone Worker Devices

The visitors to our stand were given information about our lone worker solutions and offered advice on which products may be best for them. Our KIT lone worker device was popular and we were happy to give demonstrations and let people see for themselves how lightweight and small the device is.

Lots of visitors were also keen for more information about our management portal which allows the managers of lone workers to check the status of their team devices and monitor usage.
