We hope all of our customers are enjoying their Christmas breaks and for those who are working, they are staying safe. First2HelpYou will be open over the holiday period to help those customers of ours who are also working but as we approach the New Year, we thought we would have a roundup of 2018.
Our Favourite Blogs This Year
We only launched our blog and knowledge bank this year but they have been hugely successful! We post weekly blogs on a range of topics from keeping safe when working at home to our opinion on current safety news. Here are some of our favourite blogs and resources from 2018.

We, of course, will mention our own lone worker alarm here – the KIT device but keeping employees safe isn’t just about technology; people and the tool they have access to plays a big part in safety. Here are some of our favourite safety products this year.
Dropped object prevention – when working at height the danger of dropped objects must not be underestimated. Enter dropped object prevention tools – a range of clips and cables designed to hold tool and equipment close to the wearer’s body and prevent accidental drops.
KIT Lone worker Device – The KIT Device is perfect for lone workers who are at risk from their environment, their service users, the public, and their tasks. It is discreet, lightweight, and simple to use. Read a case study here.
What We Have Been Up To
Our first year has been a busy one with spreading the word about our products, meeting new clients and attending exhibitions. Here are some of our favourite moments.
Fundraising for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust – 2018 was a year of sadness for the Suzy Lamplugh Trust after the death of Paul Lamplugh who died during the summer, never finding out what happened to his missing, presumed dead, daughter. The trust continues to work towards making personal safety accessible to everyone and spreading awareness, which is why we decided to raise money for them when some of our team took part in the Virgin Sport British 10k run.
The Health and Safety Event – the huge annual exhibition was the high point of 2018 for us. We set off to our first exhibition kitted up with our brand new banners, brochures and products in order to let the market know we had arrived! Some of our team even got a moment in the spotlight as they gave talks in the lone worker arena. We can’t wait to attend again in 2019!
Happy New Year
That brings us to the end of this post and we would just like to end by saying a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us in 2018. Our staff, partner and of course, our customers. We are excited to see what the new year brings for us!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year!
